Meet Gunnar

He was found with Maximo in Todos Santos in a local neighborhood in November 2021.  They were in rough condition with bites, ticks, and very malnourished. It also appeared they had been in some street fights with other dogs not soon before we arrived as some wounds were fresh.. We quickly got them seen and into foster care to help heal and get special care, and now Gunnar is at the shelter sharing a run with Vaquita! Gunnar does prefer to be the dominant male and is working on his  introduction skills. He does really well all female dogs and non dominant male dogs. He has really good energy and would love to live with adventurous parents who like to hike and explore. Gunnar can really see himself in a nice winter jacket exploring the snowy hills one day. He weighs about 35lbs and is a medium-small size dog, perfect for jumping in the car and traveling around.

Gunnar’s adoption fee for Oregon, Washington, or California is $200USD or within Baja $150USD. This helps us cover most of his vet and care costs incurred in Mexico, and the transport fee to bring our pups over 1,500 miles to the PNW. All our dogs come spay or neutered, with all theirs shots for the year, and have had multiple blood tests done prior to entering the USA from Mexico.
